Ultrasound technicians are not required to hold a Bachelor’s Degree, but simply need to have some training for their profession to ensure that they know what they are doing. Many times, a simple Associate’s Degree or certificate will suffice. However, in order to continue in this profession as well as move up within the health industry, a Bachelor’s Degree in Ultrasound can go a long way toward your future goals. Bachelor’s Degrees are found to increase your salary by about $20,000 when compared to people in equivalent jobs who carry only a high school diploma.
